The Social Responsibility Projects carried out by our university's esteemed academics and currently in effect are listed below. These types of projects, carried out in collaboration with municipalities, NGOs, and other public institutions and organisations, are also encouraged by our Rectorate. Our university attaches great importance to 1) physical development, 2) strengthening the academic staff, 3) increasing student quality and preference rates, and 4) integrating education programmes with the real world and continuously updating them, and we are taking concrete steps in this direction. In this context, we have made significant progress in the construction of permanent buildings and the construction processes. We have enhanced the quality of education through state-of-the-art laboratories and classrooms. We have established a dynamic academic staff with an average age of 39 who closely follow scientific developments worldwide. By modifying appointment and promotion criteria, we have introduced requirements for participation in social projects and contribution to society in academic recruitment processes. To encourage students to socialise and engage with the community, we have signed protocols with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Religious Affairs, municipalities, district governorships, and civil society organisations in many areas, and we continue to work together on projects.
