COMSATS Announces Call for Applications for the ‘CAS-ANSO Jointly Funded Research Project 2025’
The COMSATS (Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South) Secretariat offers an important opportunity for scientists and researchers in member countries. ANSO (Alliance of National and International Scientific Organisations in the Belt and Road Region), a network of which COMSATS is also a member, has issued a call for applications for the ‘CAS-ANSO Jointly Funded Research Project 2025’.
This project aims to support scientific, technological and innovative research collaborations, with projects accepted particularly in priority areas such as clean energy and health & public health. Projects aim to contribute to sustainable development goals using modern tools such as artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure and blockchain technologies.
Evaluation of Project Proposals:
Project applications involving multi-partner collaborations that aim to overcome local development barriers will be prioritised.
Funding support of up to USD 200,000 will be provided.
Application Process: Applications must be submitted to the COMSATS Secretariat by 11 May 2025. COMSATS may submit only one project proposal. Applications will be evaluated by the Chair of the COMSATS Coordination Council, and the most suitable project will be selected.
