A Gender Equality Plan has been prepared at Istanbul Medeniyet University (IMU) to identify priority areas for gender equality interventions and concrete actions to be taken. This plan was initiated and will be further developed in line with the strategies, goals and guidelines recommended by national level institutes, the European Union (EU) and the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) to strengthen gender equality in higher education institutions.
