The Innovation Small Call, funded by EIT Urban Mobility, is a new pilot mechanism that will launch for the first time in 2023. Approximately 600,000 Euros have been allocated to the Small Call mechanism.

Innovation Small Call is a single-beneficiary type of call for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Each award-winning organization will receive an EIT contribution of 70% of the total project budget, with a maximum of EUR 59,500 per project. The broader goal of the pilot mechanism is to provide new pathways to broader collaboration with the EIT Urban Transport ecosystem and create new partnerships through processes.

Project proposals submitted to the call must support the vision and mission of EIT Urban Mobility and contribute significantly to the achievement of strategic objectives (SOs). Proposals need to demonstrate how the activity will contribute to specific SOs, as set out in the Strategic Agenda 2021-2027 (SA).

The projects to be supported will be in areas covering three main topics: Energy, Logistics and Digital Future

Within the scope of the calls, products/solutions/services may address, but are not limited to, the following subtopics:

Artificial Intelligence/ Big Data, Autonomous Vehicles, CarOS, V2X, Last Mile Brokerage Services, Physical Safety and Security, Cyber Security, Public Transportation User Experience, Software Defined Mobility, ITS, MaaS, Mobility Exchanges, Asset Management and Tracking, Billing/Ticketing , LTE Connection.
